Fly Fishing Charleston SC

Fishing Report

Hello all, the spring is here with warm days and increasing water temps. As of late we have had some windy days in the first parts of March but nothing out of the norm. The redfishing has been good with great numbers on  conventional and some strong days on the fly. With the increasing water temps the schools are beginning to break up which is causing some better overall fishing and catching after the winter schooling pattern. Also the speckled trout bite is good  with some really nice early big fish. Have recently had a few 3-4 lb trout, thus looking  great for our spawn this early summer. All being taken on bait, artificial, and flies. Finally the wreck and especially inshore sheepshead bite has been phenomenal. Have caught many over 8 lbs and several over 10lbs, both offshore and inshore. Look forward taking you out and experiencing the low country and its riches with me.
